Business Flows
Explains the steps the data/user needs to go through. It's an abstract view of the software.
The main business flows take place between four stakeholders: IoT (Internet of Things) devices, smart contracts, web applications, and company representatives. IoT devices are installed on different company factories, and they measure the carbon footprint which periodically gets reported to the blockchain via smart contract.
The company representative represents the company that produces carbon footprint and his responsibility is to periodically check current stats, buy GET tokens, and compensate generated footprint using them. If there are enough GET tokens on the company balance their purchase can be skipped. When the company representative wants to compensate the generated footprint, he clicks on the corresponding button in the web application and indicates the footprint amount to compensate. This will trigger the smart contract which will burn an equivalent amount of GET tokens and deduct the generated footprint. The Green Energy company is obliged to provide the corresponding amount of energy to the consumer company.

The Green Energy company is a very important business participant. It produces green energy and mints GET tokens. These tokens can then be used to consume the corresponding amount of green energy as described above.
